New Delhi:  Many political signals emerged from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address targeting West Bengal. Referring to Bihar’s electoral message, he said the time has come for Bengal to free itself from what he described as “Mahajungle Raj. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on the Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal. Addressing a massive public meeting in Taherpur, Nadia district, he accused the ruling party of misgovernance and shielding criminals. Due to heavy fog, Modi could not land at the rally venue and addressed the gathering via phone from Kolkata.

Weather Disruption But Strong Political Message

Later, Modi posted on X explaining that weather conditions prevented him from attending the rally in person. He said he had planned to raise several important issues but was forced to return to the Kolkata airport. Despite this, his message to the people of West Bengal remained firm and direct.

Nadia’s Cultural Importance Highlighted

The Prime Minister emphasized Nadia’s deep connection with Indian culture and spirituality. He noted that the land is associated with Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and has a long tradition of service. Modi said working for the development of Nadia and West Bengal is a privilege, especially for communities like the Matua brothers and sisters who reflect values of service and dignity.

BJP Government’s Welfare Claims

Modi said his government is working round the clock to empower the people of West Bengal. He stated that over 52 lakh houses have been approved, ensuring shelter for families. More than one crore families have benefited from the Jal Jeevan Mission. He added that once a BJP government comes to power in West Bengal, the pace of development will increase further. Over 13,000 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and more than 750 PM-BJP Kendras have been established to provide affordable healthcare and medicines.

Drawing a comparison, Modi said Bihar has repeatedly shown that people do not want a return of Jungle Raj. He claimed that West Bengal is currently suffering under “Mahajungle Raj” because of the Trinamool Congress. According to him, the state now needs liberation from this system.

Serious Allegations Against TMC

On X, Modi accused the Trinamool Congress of focusing only on cuts and commissions. He said thousands of crores worth of development projects related to housing, healthcare, food security, and education are stalled due to the party’s non-cooperative attitude. Modi questioned why political opposition to him should come at the cost of Bengal’s development.

Women’s Safety And Social Concerns Raised

The Prime Minister said the condition of women in West Bengal is deeply painful. He added that the football-loving state has faced embarrassment due to recent incidents under the TMC government. Modi claimed these incidents have broken the hearts of young sports enthusiasts and exposed governance failures.

Attack Over Illegal Infiltration

Modi alleged that the TMC is using its full strength to protect infiltrators. He claimed these infiltrators loot poor citizens, spread fear, create chaos, and commit crimes against women. Modi assured that once a BJP government is formed, strict action will be taken against illegal infiltration.

Assurance To Matua And Namashudra Communities

The Prime Minister promised continued support to Matua and Namashudra families. He said they are not dependent on the mercy of the TMC and have the right to live with dignity in India. Referring to the Citizenship Amendment Act, Modi assured that more steps would be taken for these communities once the BJP assumes power in West Bengal.
